An outbound sequence should be reviewed as a conversation path, not only as a set of templates. The review checks whether each message earns the next step and respects the audience.
Check the audience
Confirm the list definition, evidence of fit, consent and suppression controls, and the reason this audience should receive the sequence. Remove records that cannot be explained.
Check the progression
Each message should add context, answer a likely question, or offer a useful next action. Remove repetition and unsupported claims. The lead list building quality check provides the evidence standard for the input.
Check timing and exits
Review delays, business-hour rules, replies, bounces, unsubscribes, and conversion exits. A reply should stop automated follow-up and create clear ownership.
Record the test
Log the reviewer, sample records, link tests, exclusions, and approval. Review results by audience and message role rather than changing several variables at once. This makes the next improvement easier to learn from.
