Daily publishing works best when the release window has a clear entry rule. A readiness check turns scattered “almost done” signals into a single operational decision.
Check the reader answer
Read the title, description, opening, and headings together. Confirm they serve one reader task and that the body delivers what the snippet promises. Flag unsupported numbers, vague advice, and sections that merely repeat the heading.
Check the release identity
Verify the unique slug, publication date, family, canonical target, featured image path, and internal links. Compare the title and opening against the day's other drafts so two pages are not competing under cosmetic differences.
Assign exceptions before cutoff
Give every defect an owner and a stop condition. Editorial judgment goes to the editor; broken paths or schema go to the release owner. Content that misses the cutoff rolls forward unchanged instead of being rushed into the batch.
After deployment, use direct route, index, sitemap, image, and structured-data checks. A green build is readiness evidence, not proof that the page is live.
