A successful build does not prove that a new article works at its public address. Run a route-level check after deployment while the release context is still fresh.
Confirm response and identity
Request the exact HTTPS URL without following redirects. Expect a successful response at the canonical form. Compare the rendered canonical URL with the address and inspect the visible title and publication date.
Confirm structured discovery
Check that structured data uses the intended publication date and page URL. Find the route in the correct family index and sitemap, and ensure neighboring routes were not displaced accidentally.
Confirm presentation
Load the hero, Open Graph, and Twitter image addresses. Review the page at desktop and mobile widths for clipped headings, overflow, and missing media.
Save the observations per route. If a check fails, keep the release open until the deployed behavior is corrected; a repository commit is only an input to production evidence.
